Zoe Martin '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Zoe Martin, I am a senior (2023) attending MacArthur Highschool in Lawton, Ok. As a student athlete I am able to live up to the high standards and expectations placed on me by several groups including, my high school and club soccer team, band, NHS (National Honors Society), my schools Leadership program, and my schedule stuffed with AP classes. In many of these groups, I take on a leadership role, demanding me to be able to work with people who may have differing opinions and views than I. I am a team player and fully capable to be flexible to meet my teams needs even if that means sacrificing my own needs and wants. My high school soccer career has been extremely successful thus far and I have received the following awards, two-year consecutive all-district player (2021 & 2022), MVP award (2022), and FCA All-Star team athlete (2022).  As a leader on my high school team, I was able to assist in our program in going further than any girls’ soccer team in our school’s history, only to follow up the next year with the greatest record in all of our school history (12-4). One of the biggest things that I am searching for is a school that will allow me to balance my education and athletic goals, build my leadership abilities, make lifelong friendships while earning my degree.
