For as long as I can remember, I've played soccer. For most of my life, I thought that I loved it. Then I changed to the goalkeeper position and truly fell in love with the game. Three months after I switched positions, I helped my team win state and secure a spot in US Club Nationals. Nationals were an excellent opportunity for me as a player to learn and grow. Though we didn't make it past the first round, I learned the values of sacrifice, teamwork, and positivity. I have sacrificed lots of time and effort to get where I am and bring that work ethic and dedication to every training and game in which I participate.
Though soccer is a massive part of my life, academics are equally important to me. I am looking for a school that can give me the highest-quality academic experience while also holding me to the highest athletic standards. Having served on Student Council and volunteered at summer camps, I understand and embrace service, character, community, and leadership as part of my daily life. My most significant assets as a player are my work ethic, my ability to learn from mistakes, my positive attitude, and my mental toughness. I look forward to contributing this to my future college team.
