I am a highly active and passionate athlete always ready and willing to take on the next challenge presented to me. My passion for soccer is not only for competition but also to teach others about the game at volunteer camps as well as officiating with the Ontario Soccer Association. I've played since I was the age of 4 and wish to continue playing beyond high school because my goal is to earn a bachelors degree competing in soccer at a U.S. soccer college that values the sport as I do.
I am not only an ambassador of the game but I enjoy opportunities to represent my High School in their Elementary School Outreach Program acting as a mentor for those students preparing for their first year. I consider myself as a play maker when I take to the field with my school and club teams. I make opportunities for my team to win. I believe my speed, agility and good understanding of the game presents me as a favorable player candidate with strong leadership skills.
Although I train four days a week, I always put my school work before everything else and use soccer to expend energy, strengthen relationships with teammates/coaches and challenge myself to get my skills to a higher level. My strongest positions on the field are Left Wing, Striker and attacking midfielder (right or left side).
Aside from school and sports I've managed to occupy the rest of my time working part-time at McDonald's, something that I am very proud of because it not only allows me to save for college, it helps me to develop other skill sets and getting used to multitasking when I eventually reach college.
This year I made a decision to compete in Women's Short Track for Bishop MacDonell (instead of High School Soccer). I am striving to improve my personal best (13.66) in 100 metres which will ultimately benefit me when I'm on the attack during club matches.
Summer of 2016 - I am working full time at Conestoga College in Parking and Security for Faculty and students.
