My name is Katherine Chadwick, and I am a student athlete with a drive to take my game and life to the next level by playing collegiate soccer. I currently play at the highest level of soccer, for my age group, in Ontario, Canada.
From a young age, I have played on almost every school sports team including track and cross-country, volleyball, basketball, badminton, football, golf and even wrestling. My competitive nature and athleticism have resulted in being named Female athlete of the year in Grade 6, Grade 8, and Jr Varsity Athlete of the year at my current high school. I am able to balance this hectic ensemble of activities and maintain a silver medallist average. Outside of school I ski, play basketball, golf , and above all, I play soccer. I played both soccer and basketball competitively until I was 14, when I independently decided to not play competitive basketball, for I knew I wanted to play soccer and pursue a university soccer career. This decision allowed me to commit 100% to the game I love, and play in the Ontario Provincial Development League as a member of the Ottawa South United 2002 Force Black team. My journey so far in this league has included countless team bus rides to Toronto, where we face the highest level of competition in Ontario, ultimately winning back to back championships of the annual Charity Shield championship and OPDL Cup.
