My goal is to play at the highest level of soccer and earn a degree in the social science field. It is my hope that after my 4 year honours degree, I would attend teachers college, as my goal is to become a high school phys.ed teacher or guidance counsellor. I am a hardworking individual both on and off the pitch. I strive to give 110% both in practice and game situations and believe that hard work, team work and determination builds success. I believe that these traits I possess have contributed to me being able to play soccer at a high level as well as being top 5 league scorer two years running. I strive to be a leader in both soccer and school. In soccer I have been captain/ co captain many years running. I have received an MVP award for soccer in my freshman year as well as a leadership award called “The good knight” in my sophomore year. I have also received honours in both my freshman and sophomore year. In addition to focusing on my soccer career and academics, I am also employed by my previous soccer club as a junior tech staff coach. With this experience, I have learned the value and importance of being a role model to younger athletes. For all of these reasons mentioned above, I believe I would be a valuable asset to any school and team.
