2021 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Competition drives me through life whether it is academics, sports or just learning a new hobby, I always strive to do my absolute best.
Soccer is my favorite form of competition. I love the grit and determination it takes to play the game and the mental and physical battles that come with it. I have played many positions including forward, center-mid, and my personal favorite- defense. Experience playing on all sides of the game has really helped me understand the different dynamics necessary for a successful team, the most important being that everyone plays selflessly for their teammates. Everything I do on and off the field works towards being a more confident individual player, but also a supportive and uplifting teammate.
I feel that I have grown tremendously over my high school career to become a smarter more confident player on and off the ball. I look forward to the challenge of continued development of my skills and mental understanding of the game as a player and teammate at the next level.
