Sophia Koziol '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Sophie Koziol and I am in my junior year at Conestoga High School, in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. I am looking for a college that is the right fit both academically and athletically. 

I play attacking center midfield, but am versatile and will happily play any position the team needs. I am the starting attacking midfielder on my high school team. We are currently ranked #9 in the country and #1 in the state of Pennsylvania according to Top Drawer. As for my club team, I play for FC Delco ECNL U19 coached by John Sanger and Zac Tassone. I play attacking center midfield for them as well. 

My strengths as a soccer player are my vision, technical ability, good decision making, distribution, and fast play. I am a very passionate and dedicated soccer player and I am always trying to improve.  I am a leader on the field and a team player. I am looking for a school where I can thrive alongside other student athletes who share my passion, where I can play soccer at the highest and most competitive level, where my skills are tested, and where I can reach my true potential.

I work hard to maintain good grades and get involved with my school. I am a member of Key Club at my school which is a volunteering group to help the less fortunate. I very much enjoy helping other people and feel very happy when I can improve someones day or even their life in the slightest. In summer 2017 and 2019 I went on a mission trip to Belize and the Dominican Republic. They were both amazing experiences that I will never forget.
