Hi! My name is Kadence Barr. Growing up, soccer was the only sport I fell in love with and poured my heart into. This is my 7th year playing soccer - I started playing coed in middle school. Shortly, after a couple years of training, I was scouted on a high school soccer team, Grace Prep Storm, when I was in 8th grade. I continued playing with my high school team and was eventually scouted onto two different club teams, Penn United and Mountain Union District, my freshman year of high school. Throughout my high school career, I have been participating in training, indoor leagues, club games, and club tournaments.
My determination and competitive nature has led me to where I am now. I have worked hard to win, “Offensive Player of The Year Award” twice in the short two years at my old private school. Sophomore year, I was the top scorer on my team, while Junior year, my club team brought home the Hershey Classic Tournament win.
Along with soccer, I have many other commitments including maintaining a 4.0 GPA, I am currently taking honors and college courses, I have volunteered through Grace Prep in community service, I am Editor of my school’s newspaper and participate in Book clubs, and I work in assisting middle schoolers with English tutoring.
I plan on majoring in International Business and Foreign Languages for college. I hope to find a college or university that pushes my boundaries in both soccer and my academics.
