Personal Statement

I am 5'4" outside midfielder from Davidsville, PA and will graduate in 2020.  I have been playing soccer since the age of  4 that included AYSO, tournament teams, PA West, as well as for my junior and senior high school.  I continue to develop myself by attending summer ID Camps with the most recent one in 2017 at Penn State.  I am looking for a school that can help me pursue my dreams academically and continue playing soccer at the next level.

I am currently ranked number one in my class as of this semester.  I am enrolled in the academic curriculum and also take college courses from Penn Highlands Community College.  I will have an Associates Degree when I graduate high school.

Besides playing soccer, martial arts have made an impact in my life.  I am a 3rd Degree Black Belt in the art of Tang Soo Do.  Studying martial arts has taught me self-discipline and the ability to interact with both small and large groups.  I am in charge of the Girl Power Class which is held monthly during the school year.

I am looking forward to speaking to you about the opportunities to continue my education and playing at your university.
