Hi, my name is Anna Slagle. I've been involved in sports since I was young, and it has become a huge part of my life. I have tried many different sports such as track and basketball. Regardless, soccer ended up being the sport I was the most passionate about. Your mind is always thinking about something every second of the game. It’s like solving many puzzles that are constantly being thrown at you.
I always give 100% in everything I do, whether it be a game, practice, or training on my own. I appreciate all the feedback my coaches give me. It helps me to become a better player. Throughout the years, I've learned soccer isn't about the individual, but rather the team. I learned how to listen to other’s ideas, and how to get along with my teammates. I tend to be more on the reserved side, but I still do my best to help out my teammates and lead by example through my hard work and dedication.
Similarly to soccer, I also work very hard in school to maintain a 4.0 GPA. I take my studies very seriously, and challenge myself by taking advanced classes. In college, I'm interested in majoring in math.
With all that being said, I hope to compete as a student athlete in college, and find the right place for me.
