My name is Carmella Simco and I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. Since then, I have developed a passion for the amazing sport. As I got older, my love for the game got stronger and I have competed in higher-level leagues such as the ODP, ECNL and GA. I have the speed and skill to compete with girls taller and older than me.
I play on the Century United GA team after transferring over from playing on the Pittsburgh Riverhounds ECNL team for the past few years. In 2022, I made the ODP Regional East Pool and was so honored to represent PA West in this fantastic opportunity. I also made Exact Soccer's top 11 team which is the top 11 players from 8 ID camps they held nationally. I play on my 4A WPIAL Norwin High School team. I made varsity as a freshman, was the team's leading goal scorer my sophomore year, and made All Section my senior year.
Education and soccer are very important to me. I am a consistent High Honor Student and take Honor Classes. I will graduate in 2025. I need a college that will challenge me academically and also challenge me on the field. I am dedicated to doing whatever it takes to put the work in to help my team win a NCAA Championship. I look forward to where my soccer journey will take me, as I want to play collegiate soccer at the highest level and beyond. I work hard every day to try to make this goal someday become a reality.
