Hi coaches! My name is Olivia Della Lucia and I am an incoming junior at Thomas Jefferson High School. I play center mid, outside mid, and forward. I am quick on the ball and a leader on the field for my team. I consider my technical ability and speed my greatest strengths. I have a high soccer IQ and always know what I will do next before I get possession of the ball. My best qualities are my work ethic and determination.
I was the only freshman awarded the All Section Award in 3A. During my freshman year, I also got Fab 15 and the Newcomer of the Year Award for my high school team. This past season, during my sophomore year, I earned All Section again. Along with this, I was awarded Mon Valley Independent Fab 15 Breakthrough Player of the Year. I was also invited to i2i International Camp in England and Tiro Sports International ID World Cup.
I play at Century United on the 07 Girls Academy team. I believe I would be an asset to your team because I have the drive and skill to be the best player I can be and continue to improve and get better. I am always training and working to reach my full potential as a player.
Outside of soccer, I take my academics very seriously. I have a 4.5 GPA and take all honors and AP classes. I am interested in pursuing a career that involves the medical field. I would love to become an optometrist so I can help people.
At the end of my recruiting process, my goal is to find a school and soccer program that challenges me to be the best person and athlete I can be on and off the field. I want to set myself up for success and play my favorite game at the same time!
