My freshman year in high school, my team was down 1-0 during the final game of a thus far undefeated season. At halftime, our senior captains motivated us and told us to stay positive and keep our heads up. This experience taught me to never give up and to play my hardest. I was thrilled to be a contributing member of what ended up being an undefeated season (see article in profile)!
Being a multiple sport athlete has taught me to be a leader. It has taught me to work well with others, stay positive, and help make the people around me better. In addition to playing sports, I have learned to work well with others by working at a juice bar, participating in clubs and volunteering. Each one of these experiences has helped me learn teamwork, leadership, and commitment.
I am looking forward to finding a program where I can strive to challenge myself academically and athletically.
