I am excited to announce that I am committed to playing soccer at the Unviersity of Rochester for the 2023-24 school year. Thank you all for your interest.
******************
I am in the 2023 class at North Penn High School in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. I played varsity soccer my junior, sophomore and freshman years, (although I suffered an ankle injury in the first game of my sophonmore year, and missed most of the seaon that year). I lead my team in scoring in my junior year for the 2021 varsity season with 6 goals and 1 assist. I was my team's MVP and Golden Boot winner. I was also named to the Suburban One District One First Team in my junior year.
I also played Varsity and J.V. Lacrosse at North Penn and was named the MVP for the JV team in spring, 2021 (I had 25 goals, 19 assists and 56 draw controls). In my free time,Our varsity lacrosse team made the district playoffs this year, losing in the the 2nd round. I was also named to the PASLA (PA Lacrosse) - All Academic Team for 2022.
I also play indoor club field hockey, where my team has won its bracket in the USA Field Hockey National Indoor Tournament for the last four out of the last five years (in 2022 my team was runner up in its bracket).
I took 3 AP courses (Calculus A/B, English Lang and Chemistry) in my junior year and earned a score of 5 on all three of my AP exams in the spring of 2022. I am taking 5 AP courses in my senior year (Calculus B/C, English Lit, French, Physics and Biology). The rest of my courses have been all at the honors level. A copy of my transcript through my junior year is included with my NCSA profile.
I am in the National Honor Society, the National French Honor Society, the Key Club, the ENACT Club, the Ski and Board Club, and was a member of the 2022 Mock Trial Team (we came in 3rd in our district, missing out on the state competition by one place). I was able to go on my school's ski trip to Lake Placid, NY last year.
In my sophomore year, I participated on the North Penn Unified Heptathlon Team, and our team placed 3rd in the district competition. In my juinor year, I played on the North Penn Bocce team.
I have played for the FC Bucks ECNL team for the past seven years where I have developed strong relationships with my teammates and coaches. For FC Bucks, I primarily play center midfielder. I like playing center midfielder because I can distribute the ball to my teammates who are making runs and it also lets me get the opportunity to play defense as I enjoy 1v1 defending. Our team qualified for the ECNL North American Cup in 2022 and made it to the semi finals. In 2021, my team qualified for Showcase B of the 2021 ECNL National Playoff in Florida in July 2021, where we went 2-1 for the tournament.
I also have played ODP soccer for Eastern PA Youth Soccer for several years, and have been in the East Region Pool for 3 years. I would have attended the ODP Interregional Event in Florida in fall 2020, but it was cancelled due to COVID-19.
I attend strength and conditioning classes at Relentless Atheltics, an all female strength training gym in Hatfield, PA.
I have decided that I want to play soccer for a high academic school with a strong soccer program. I am intersted in biomedical engineering, biology, chemisty and/or chemical engineeering as potential majors. I would be an excellent candidate because I like the feeling of being on a team and working together with my team to win. I am a hard worker and I always take my training seriously and I put 100% effort into everything that I do. I am also a good teammate who cheers everyone on and wants to see everyone succeed. I just also love soccer.
