My name is Avery Olesen, and I have been playing soccer since I was 4. I have played all positions on the field but have fallen in love with the outside back and wing positions. I just finished my junior year of Varsity soccer with my high school team. My school ball team won third place in our District which provided us a spot in the brackets for States. Unfortunately, we didn’t make it past the first round. I have been playing for Lancaster Inferno, a travel league connected to the Lancaster Inferno Women's soccer team in Lancaster, PA. Lancaster Inferno is within the USL Women’s soccer league. I have been with Lancaster Inferno since its inaugural year (2022). As a player I am not afraid to go up against the bigger girls and have no problem getting between the player and the ball so I can take possession. I am the type of person who is always willing to push myself and wants to always be on the pitch.
Academically I am interested in becoming a Physicians Assistant. I have passion for both the Sports Medicine and Cardiology side of the medical field. I look forward to continuing to combine my athletics and academics with my college experience.
