Alexia Boltz '20 Recruiting Profile

One of my goals in college is to be a starter as a freshman.  I also want to help my team win their conference and compete for a national championship.   Another goal I have is to find a school that matches up with my skill and technique and ability to play high level possession soccer.   I beleive the direct style of soccer has its place in a match, but a great technical team will beat a kick and chase team every time.  I am a good candidate for the team because I am a hard worker and extremely coachable and have ablity to adapt my play to match the team's style. Training is time to be serious and to learn as much as I can and improve my skill and better understand how the coach wants us to play tactically.  People also see me as a team leader because I am always focused and trying my best.  I am different from other recruits because I am more a team player.  I understand each player has a different role on the team and you must work together in order to be successful.  I am also a very good student and try my hardest to get good grades.  Although I am a quiet in person, my teammates see me as a leader through the conversations I have one on one and my example on the field.
