Hello, my name is Kamryn Burtner. I currently attend Knoch High School in Butler, Pennsylvania and I just completed my sophomore year. I play soccer for both my high school and club team, Steel City FC (formerly Pittsburgh Hotspurs). The positions I usually play are attacking right or left midfield but sometimes I will play striker or center attacking mid. I also compete in high school track in the high jump, 4 x 100 relay, and 200 m dash. Our high school soccer team won section champs my freshman year (I am a starting player on the team) and our track team won section champions my freshman and sophmore year. I am also a former state champion in gymnastics, where I got to level 8. My dedication and passion toward athletics started at a very young age.
When I am not doing sports I am usually working on school work, during the school year. My favorite subject in school is science (specifically the human body / mind ) which is why in high school I choose most of my electives to be sciences; such as biology, human body, and psychology. After high school I want to attend college and major in nursing to get a BSN. My second favorite subject is english, which is why I decided to go into honors english next year.
Outside of school and sports, I have a variety of hobbies and participate in our school Best Buddies Club. Whenever I have extra time, I like hang out with my friends, go to the mall, and shop with my friends or family. I also love to travel, spend time outside, take pictures, and meet new people.
