Triple D, dedication, determination, and desire is what every coach wants from their players. These three words took on a new meaning after September 24, 2019. During a game, my junior year I suffered a very serious injury, a ruptured spleen. Just like that, my season was over. That injury made me re-focus on what I needed to do to get back on the field. My desire was never greater, all I wanted was to play the game I love. The commitment was there and the hard work began.
I started playing soccer in fourth grade and my love for it has grown ever since. I have been a varsity starter for four years and I was named captain this year. I consider myself to be an unselfish player with the team win as the ultimate goal. I lead my team with goals and assists. I am quick and versatile and play with 110% intensity until the last second. My goal is to bring my positive attitude and leadership skills to the next level.
