Ashley Rivera '18 Recruiting Profile

I wish to get an education in Physical Education to become a teacher and continue my soccer career. My passions are soccer and fitness. I am a dedicated team player with good speed, very good ball handling skills and ability to shoot with either foot.  I also have good accuracy and am very proficient at taking corner kicks, free kicks and PK's. The extensive training that I have had has given me the ability to play the game with intelligence, knowing when to be at the right place at the right time to make a play or help defensively. For these reasons I feel that I can be an asset to any team at midfield or forward.

I am a hard working student and take my education very seriously.  I feel that my passion for sports and fitness will be a big asset in my pursuit to become a Physical Education Teacher.  I hope to later combine my teaching career and love of soccer to coach a team, teaching my skills and knowledge of the game with younger generations. I want to make the most of my college experience for both education and soccer.
