Hello, my name is Alicia Carrasquillo; I am from Puerto Rico and have played soccer for 12 years. Since I started playing this sport, I fell in love with soccer, and as I got older, I knew I wanted to play at a collegiate level. Even though I must work hard to reach my aspirations, my leadership, desire, discipline, and dedication will help me along my journey as a teammate and individual. I have demonstrated that no matter what people say, it is a blessing to be different and make a difference. My struggles along the way only prove that I have been perseverant and have focused on my dreams. This is why I have maintained a spot in the PR National team while being in the top 5% of my class.
