My goal is to play college soccer while pursuing a major in biology (concentrating in completing the pre-requisites for veterinary school). I started playing soccer when I was 4 years old and have continued ever since. I could not imagine myself without soccer in my life. From local town soccer, to high school soccer and premier soccer, I've played and progressed. I have a good work-ethic and plan to work hard in both athletics and school. I've consistently maintained high grades while balancing a busy schedule. I am a determined player and would spend all day every day on the soccer field if I could. I love working on new skills and practicing both by myself and with my team. Although I have played anything from defense to forward, my main position is as a goalkeeper. Being tall certainly helps, but my strongest assets are my lack of fear in goal (especially on breakaways), my ability to make decisions quickly, and keeping cool under the pressure of things like penalty kicks and big games. I feel that I would fit into a serious college soccer program because of my desire to improve and always play to my highest potential.
