I would like to play college soccer at the highest level possible. I grew up watching my dad play soccer, and always wanted to be as good as him. I began to play when I was 5 years old and have continued to play ever since. Playing soccer has taught me to work extremely hard to acheive my goals and because of my strong work ethic I believe that I can compete at the college level. Through soccer I have learned what it means to have good sportsmanship and a positive attitude through competition. In high school I strive to get the best grades possible and take higher level courses. I want to continue onto college to get a professional degree. One of my greatest obstacles as a teenager was learning that I have scoliosis, but it didn't affect my ability to play. As a soccer player I possess great field vision and I am able to make smart and quick decisions. Being a center midfielder has allowed me to be creative and think ahead as the play develops. I'm usually able to recover and anticipate passes by opponents and quickly transition into an attacking role by making accurate passes to my teammates.
