I started playing soccer when I was seven years old. I have always played recreational league until my 7th grade year and then that is when I tried out for the JV team at Northwestern High School. Through my years of playing soccer I realized that I am able to handle decisions and situations with no problem. I did become captain of the JV team my sophomore year of playing because my coaches recognized that I was the only one who knew how to communicate with everyone on the team sufficiently and effectively. Currently I am an outside back and a goalkeeper on the varsity team.
My goals for the rest of my high school career and for college is to succeed in not only soccer but in academics too. I am usually the one to take lead in everything from any group project in school to playing sports. I want to major in biology and end up working in a lab on the coast. I know global warming is in effect and I want to help save the planet.
