Hello, My name is Taite Scheafer. I have played soccer officially since I was 5 years old but have had a soccer ball at my feet since I was 2. Playing soccer at the college level has always been a goal of mine.
While I say I am left foot dominant, I really am both, which gives me the advantage of being able to switch sides of the field and still deliver excellent crosses and score with either foot. Another strong attribute that I bring to the team is my vision. Learning how to see the entire field and play “into the future” helps me to be able to create opportunities not only for myself, but also for my teammates. I have great speed and excellent foot skills which helps me to deliver accurate passes and allows me to play aggressively and take on players when needed.
I am very proud of the fact that I was able to assist my club team, DASC earn the President’s Cup National Championship in 2019 and then just this spring, I helped my St Jo’s team in the UK, win a County Cup Trophy and 2 National Cup Trophies. These accomplishments also show my ability to work with and support my team.
Currently I am undecided for my major, but I have an interest in science and I am looking forward to exploring different fields of study.
