Hi my name is Kia LeKander and I am currently a senior at Tea Area High School in Tea SD. I started playing soccer when I was 6 years old and it has been my favorite sport ever since. During my time playing I have learned to play every position on the field, but I find my most success at the 5, 6, 7, 10 &11. My ability to shoot and pass with both feet has allowed me to move around the field as needed by my coach and team. I feel that the benefits that I bring to my coaches and teams is that I am coachable, I have quality first touches, and I have a strong soccer IQ. I am also able to transition easily between my left and right foot allowing me to create space where needed. My goal is to go to a great college or university and obtain a top-notch education. I am looking to pursue a degree in Exercise Science to become a athletic trainer.  It would be awesome to continue my love for the game of soccer while earning a degree.
