My name is Emberly Loveland. I am born and raised in Knoxville, TN. After high school, I am planning to pursue a career in occupational therapy. I started my soccer career at the age of 6, playing for various local teams including AYSO. In middle school, I played for Crush and my middle school teams. While playing for the school, I was taught how to play every position on the field, even though I would mainly play striker, wide-mid, and goalkeeper. When I started in high school, I switched to playing only goalkeeper, when I am in goal I am not afraid to be vocal and lead my team from the back. I have more experience in goal but am able to play anywhere on the field.
Off the field, I enjoy hanging out with my teammates and growing bonds. I am active in a variety of after-school clubs, church activities, and local Down syndrome organization. Academically, I push myself in the classroom to receive good grades while taking several honors level classes. I am looking for a school with the right academic fit as well as a school where I can continue my soccer career.
