I plan on going to college and studying either education or psychology as both of those areas of study interest me. And I look forward to playing soccer wherever my academic path takes me. I take pride in excelling in all my pursuits and expect to do the same in college, academically and with soccer. I am a very studious person and a loyal and supportive teammate. I hope to one day be able to coach soccer and teach academically after my collegiate career is done. My coaches and instructors have consistently entrusted me to help lead the team or the classroom because of my maturity and I expect to continue that into college. I understand the game of soccer more than most players as I have been around it all my life. I come from a soccer family as both my sisters play and my father has coached for many years. I have played since I was four years old, most of it as a midfielder and the last two years as a goalkeeper. I additionally played for several years in an adult women's indoor soccer league where I faced many talented collegiate players as a goalie. And because of that, I learned a lot about aggressive play in close spaces. I have refereed recreational and travel games as well as helped coach and mentor younger players.
I look forward to collegiate life and the challenges and excitement it will bring. Perhaps I can be part of it with you and my new team.
