Karina Torres '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Karina and I am a rising junior. It's no secret that soccer is my passion and on the field, I am a leader! In practice, I push myself as well as my teammates and in the game, I encourage my teammates to be their best. When the game starts I block everything else and my mind is focused on the game. In both club and high school soccer, I do not hesitate to advocate for myself and I am constantly asking my coaches on ways I can improve.  In school, I take one AP class and plan on taking two next year. I am very dedicated to my school work and always show up to class with a great attitude. I love to help people and  I tutor my peers once a week.  In my personal life, I am very interested in cosmetics and hairstyling.  My goal for the future past college is to be a nurse, the idea of caring for others brings me a lot of joy and is very important to me. I am excited for the journey ahead of me.
