Jazmine Barrios '20 Recruiting Profile

I would like a school and city that I will give a good part of my life to feel like home away from home? This includes a school that I will enjoy and feel that I am a part of something special. Playing time is, as all dedicated athletes a big thing to me. But I understand earning my way to do that and will work hard to earn it. Which is another part of my thoughts on what I am looking for in a school and coaching staff that will gave me a fair chance to compete for a spot on their roster. I want a program that will continue to push me to be the best I can be in both player and person. I want a program that when I graduate, I will miss it so much that it hurts but will feel fulfilled and proud with what we as a team (family) have done together. In my academic experience, I want a school that will prepare me to enter the work force ready to go and compete just as in soccer.  I never had a problem with leaving home for school. In fact I told my parents that I love them very much but I would like a two state minimum between us “not to close but close enough”.   In turn I want to give back to my school and team something to be very proud of, something special that my future soccer team can say “yes, she was one of mine”.
