I started playing soccer at the age of 4 and instantly fell in love with it. I tried other sports but I always went back to soccer. Making the JV Soccer team freshman of high school year was a big moment for me playing soccer. It boosted my confidence and motivated me to be a better player. This helped me create a better sense of work ethic and determination. However, having a rough start to club soccer helped me grow the most. I joined club soccer late compared to most in my graduating class which set me back a little and I joined two different club teams (a year apart.) With that, my first couple years of club were not the best, my teams were not encouraging to each other and we weren’t as successful as we could have been. This helped me develop a sense of leadership, I work to be very vocal and encouraging on the field (compared to my past teams.) I am a team player; I always look to make the extra pass to get a win and I always score or shoot not just for myself but for my team too. Also, I was fortunate enough to join a new team that has a much more positive mindset and allows me to be more of a leader. From this, I have the talent, personality, and leadership skills to make a big impact on your team.
