Personal Statement

Hi my name is Ava Garvin, and I am 15 years old. I attend Panther Creek high school in Frisco, Texas and I am a starting attacking center mid on the varsity soccer team. I have been playing soccer for 10 years, and I currently play for FC Dallas U16 ECNL under Coach Aaron Gordon, where I am the starting left center back. I am a dual footed player but I am left foot dominant. Some of my outstanding soccer qualities are I have an exceptionally high soccer IQ and I pride myself on being mentally and physically tough. I am also a very versatile player and can play wherever the coach needs me. I am equally as dedicated in the classroom, I am currently taking all advanced classes and I maintain a 4.0/4.962 GPA.
