Since early on I had been guaranteed a life of self fulfillment; told that my aspirations were achievable only by myself. Years of self discovery and the distinguishment of personal identity through the bonds formed with others utterly shattered my views, in retribute for a more worldly outlook. I began viewing myself as my own person; distinguished from external views in preference for self enjoyment. It was through the formation of community- not only in an athletic- but equally in an academic setting, in which I was able to discover myself.
Through arduous strife and tireless work, I had cultivated the skill to perform to my best capability, both on and off the field. Studiousness and the thirst for knowledge allowed my placement into the Gifted and Talented program, as well as the title of top 2% of my class. Self motivation allotted for constant and rigorous training, providing my position as a starting goalkeeper and winger on my club team .
Extensionally, I had exercised feats of leadership and maturity through my conduct as team captain, and moreover as a member of my community; be it as head editor of my school's literary magazine, as a copy editor for CainLive newspaper, vocational internships, NAHS community service, or through volunteering with my club team. Through collegiate soccer , I intend to acquire the experience and individual depth acquainted with this organization, and moreover discover aspects of myself still unbeknownst.
