My name is Guya Babila, and I am a 2024 graduate at The Emery Weiner School in Houston, TX with a GPA of 3.6. At Emery Weiner, I have been a starter since my freshman year and I plan to continue playing at the varsity level for the next two years and hope to start playing at the collegiate level. I play for RISE U17 GA, who is coached by Kevin Cross. This year I primarily play forward and my secondary position is midfield. However, I am a versatile player and am open to any position. I began playing soccer in the 6th grade at the age of 12 which marks five years. I started only playing for school and as my interest furthered I began to play club. I began on the 05 premier team and then made my way up to the DA team which is now GA. Playing soccer has been a crucial part of my life and I plan to continue that. While playing soccer I feel most at ease and most comfortable with myself and I am always willing to make sacrifices for myself and my team.
