Shentatious Knox '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Shentatious (Shenta) Knox and I’m currently a Senior at Morton Ranch High School in Katy, Texas. I’m 5’4 and I weigh 135 lbs. The last 12 years of soccer have shaped me into being a force on the field and a fierce a competitor. Soccer has opened so many doors to opportunities I could’ve ever imagined, from playing club and making local friends to going to ODP Region Camp and playing with phenomenal players. This experience pushed me to be a better player, and also made me realize how much I love the game, as well as how far I would like to go with it. I would love to play college soccer because I live for competition. ODP gave me the high-level speed of play I was looking for and I only want to get better. This also applies to my academics, I work hard to maintain my 4.4 GPA and my high ranking as 18 in my class. Soccer has given me the confidence and fire to be competitive and work hard in every aspect in my life, from my grades, community work, and anything else I commit myself to. My goal is to play college soccer and work hard to achieve great things with a strong team, and later play professionally or go to medical school to pursue my second dream of becoming a surgeon. College is my first step toward my future and I would love for soccer to continue to be a huge part of my life.
