Personal Statement

I am a hard working player that never fails to give my all, in everything I do.  I strive to overcome challenges not only in soccer, but in my academics as well. I play soccer because it makes me the person I am. Playing this sport gives me pride, motivation, and most of all determination to push myself and go beyond my limit, inside and outside of soccer. I am always competing and never fail to try my best, which is what makes me the player and student I've always dreamed of being.

  • Selected to Camp All-Star Team. Evaluated at Southwest Girls Academic 50 ID Camp on 07/25/2019 by Coach Hayes of Auburn University Skillset Overview Technical Abilities - 92 / 100 Dribbling - Quality with ball at both feet. Good in tight spaces, and makes good use of moves to beat defenders. Ball Control - Quality first touch in space, and controls the ball under pressure. Tactical Abilities - 92 / 100 Vision - Field vision is very good. Constantly checking over shoulders on and off ball allows for quick decisions. Speed Of Thought - Has good ideas and tries to play fast. This will only help future growth. Physical Abilities - 92 / 100 Speed - Great speed overall, in particular when running into space. Will be an important asset going forward. Strength - Did a good job handling challenges and played well shoulder-to-shoulder. Mental Abilities - 92 / 100 Competitiveness - Showed a strong desire to win and seems to enjoy the competition. Keep working hard! Team Player - Great team-first attitude. Was encouraging and supportive to teammates throughout camp. Coach's Comments Great attitude and a pleasure to work with at camp! Emmy brings energy and quiet confidence about her to every session. Her willingness to be versatile and play different positions is great. Her desire to get on the ball, be strong and run at defenders 1v1 is tremendous. As a 2023 grad, she still has time to develop, both technically and physically, and has the potential to become an elite player. She has a bright soccer career ahead of her! Through your work ethic and abilities on the ball you do well to get into the attacking third. Work on getting yourself into scoring position and taking advantage of those opportunities! You don't always have to look to pass/cross when you get in there. Remember to use the space to your advantage, to create passing lanes and channels to exploit the space that you've created through your movement and making defenders make decisions. Be confident in your abilities and the strengths that you possess, you can be a difference-maker if you believe in yourself.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
