I believe God wants us to impact each other in some way - small or large - and in as many ways as possible. I would like to do this in my personal and my future professional life. I believe that will be found in physical therapy with the differently challenged. I'm not exactly sure where I fit just yet but I'm excited to find where God wants me to impact others.
Soccer has been important to me as well. I have played soccer since I was five. I played two years of ODP and the last last five years have been on a traveling, competitive ECNL/ECRL team. I've been on varsity all four years of high school. My freshman year, I was the only GK and allowed only 8 goals against all season. We made it to the first round of playoffs. My sophomore year, I was second keeper under a returning senior. Our team advanced to the fourth round of the playoffs/state of Texas championship finale. My junior year I returned to the starting keeper position. Covid-19 ended our season early but we were sitting in a position to go into the playoffs again. I was voted at the end of the season by my teammates as the Most Valuable Player. It was the most incredible honor I've ever been given. And now ... I am the starting GK my senior year and I'm blessed to be serving as captain of this incredible team.
