Andrea Reyes '18 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goal is to play for a well-known and established soccer team, whether it be D1 or D2.  Because of my size I have always had to work harder to keep up with girls my age, however my size never restricted me from achieving or surpassing the expectations I had for myself, it was more of a mental game. Ever since then I have worked non-stop to become the player I am today. I take responsibility for myself and am willing to play any position a coach asks of me.  Being someone who has risen above the "B-team" status, I know what it takes to push myself, as well as others, in a positive way to improve as a team. I have always put my team before myself and am more concerned with getting far as a team than as an individual. I work well with others and in the rare case I don't, I never let it effect my performance on the field. I have always been quite independent when it comes to academia, I thrive when presented with new knowledge.
