I started playing soccer when I was about 11 years old, which some would say is a late start; however, I’ve learned with hard work and perseverance you can achieve anything. I’m not just a soccer player, I excel in the arts as well, having been first chair clarinet since seventh grade . I have had many opportunities to represent my school at the regional, area and state levels in band.
I play soccer year-round basically; I currently play on the BVB International 05 girl team in Waco, when I am not playing for my high school. For my varsity high school team, I’m a utility player, I can be moved to all the mid-field positions, forward, and received all district 2nd team honors as a defender my sophomore year. I believe I would be an asset to a college team because playing multiple positions has allowed me to be a selfless teammate with great situational game awareness. Playing multiple positions during a game, I have learned to communicate better, and utilize my technical and tactical abilities. I would like to continue playing soccer on the collegiate level for further my education in the health sciences. I truly believe the competitiveness I’ve learned on the field will help me be a great health care provider in the future.
I’m an all “A” student that excels on and off the field, I’m a member of multiple organizations, HOSA being the one that most closely represents my educational goals. I’m currently in the carnivore club, and I’ve been chosen to represent Robinson in UIL accounting. I love representing my school in any way they ask of me.
