I am Lily Lougheed. My interest in playing college soccer, I must admit comes from a place of proving those who thought I couldn’t, wrong. This would include my father and a coach. I have fought my way from being a gawky, short, skinny 4th grader riding the bench most games, to a 5’ 8” machine that seldom tires. Along with playing High School and Club Soccer, I run Cross Country and track to stay in shape year-round. Our Cross Country team went to State as a team. Although this is a busy schedule, I’ve maintained very decent grades. Both of my parents were in the military. They have taught me self-discipline, and the importance of developing relationships that make for a good unit, or team. I live for that camaraderie you get when a Team just gels. I believe that perseverance, tenacity, and a drive to constantly improve have defined my career so far. I often receive the complement of being “coachable”. I give my current club soccer coach credit for helping me hone new skills. With that said, I want to be considered to play on a college team. I want to continue playing this game I love. Thank you for your consideration.
