I'm currently in the 11th grade at Antonian College Preparatory High School in San Antonio, Texas. I am focusing on developing my soccer skills so that I can have an opportunity to be a collegiate student athlete at an academically selective school. I’d like to play competitive collegiate soccer and be a positive contributor to a college program.
During my Freshman year of High School I played on both the Varsity and Junior Varsity Soccer teams. I earned the "Newcomer of the Year" Award for my contributions to the Varsity Team and the "Most Valuable Player" Award for my contributions to the Junior Varsity Team.
I've played club soccer since 2013, first with the Greensboro United Soccer Association in Greensboro, North Carolina (2013-2015), then with the Alamo City Soccer Club in San Antonio, Texas (2015 - 2017), and now with the Classics Elite Soccer Club in San Antonio, Texas as a member of the U13 Elite Club National League Team, and U14 , U15, and U16 Elite Club National League - Regional League Team (2017 - Present). I currently serve as one of two team captains on my 2020 Club Soccer team.
Academically, I am an honor roll student and I work hard at everything I commit to in both school and sports. I’ve been told by my teachers and coaches, both in school and on my soccer teams, that I’m optimistic, respectful, and I work well with my classmates/teammates. I’ve also been provided feedback that I’m teachable/coach-able and that I have a good work ethic. I take pride in working hard to achieve the goals that I've set for myself. I am honored to have been selected by my classmates as Vice President of the Student Council Sophomore class for the 2020 - 2021 school year and I am the founder and Co-President of my schools "Current Events Club".
One recent academic accomplishment that I'm very excited about is my acceptance to the University of Notre Dame Global Scholars program. This program will allow me to attend a virtual college course taught by a professor from the University of Notre Dame and earn college credit as a high school student.
I wish to attend an academically and athletically competitive college that will help me grow into who I want to be. I look forward to getting to know you, your school, and soccer program better and I appreciate you taking the time to review my profile.
