Katherine "Katie" Macdonald '16 Recruiting Profile

 I am a hard working student both on and off the field, dedicated to improving myself. I have been playing soccer since I was 5 and truly love the game. I am a team player and will do anything that it takes to make both my team, and myself as successful as possible. I train for many hours a week on my own, working on technical ability, speed and agility and endurance. My club team, Texas Rush 98/99G Developmental competes in the South Texas State Classic League. For my high school team, I am a Varsity starting Center-back. Academically, I am a straight A student, a member of the "A" Honor Roll and part of a selective school called the Academy of Science and Technology within my regular high school. Outside of soccer, I am an Academy Student Union Representative and volunteer with TOPS Soccer and Leo Club, as well as at many local events. I hope to find a school that can meet my needs both academically and athletically, and that will continue to help me grow on and off the field.
