My name is Emma and I am a high school/club soccer player, graduating in 2024. I have been playing since I was 3 years old. Both of my parents were college athletes; my father played soccer and my mother played softball.
I decided that I wanted to pursue college soccer (and potentially higher) within the last few years and have been working on strengthening my skills to prepare me of that level of play. My goal is to find a school that meets my needs both athletically and academically. I would be a great candidate for your team because I am motivated and eager, with the drive to constantly improve. I am a skilled goalkeeper, but I am also strong on the field. I have been team captain on my last several teams as I display leadership qualities needed to make a team successful. I was also asked by my high school soccer coach to attend a leadership training in 2021. I take my schoolwork very seriously and maintain between a 3.2 and 3.6 GPA, which includes AP classes. I was recently one of two students in my school to score a 4/5 on the AP literature exam. In June 2023 I was asked to attend the invite only Vibe Soccer Cup in Verona, Italy. I was the starting keeper, where my team placed 4th out of 16 US and International teams.
I am goal oriented and when I have my mind set on something, I do everything in my power to make it happen.
