My goal is to play D1 soccer. I would not mind going anywhere on the western side of the U.S., and I would work to play top-level soccer. I love being on a team That has synergy and enjoy working with other players to advance our skill sets and friendships together. I take everything on the field very seriously, not only at practice but also during games. I am confident in myself and my abilities. I believe that a team is a group that comes together for a common goal. Teammates should not get mad at each other and point fingers when things go wrong. I firmly believe that you win and lose as a team. Soccer is a time for me to unwind and lower my stress levels, it makes me breathe and clear my mind. I love the game and I have consistently practiced weekly since I was four years old. From the day I began, I loved the sport and realized the benefits that it has for me both mentally and physically. I am a very competitive player and I will not quit until the final whistle blows. I have helped win multiple tournaments, while on different teams, including Park City, Mesquite, St. George, etc. I work hard to be a good leader both on and off the field and have been captain for multiple of my competitive teams as well as being voted captain of my varsity high school team both my junior and senior years in high school. During my junior year, I was also awarded the Offensive MVP award for helping create goal-scoring opportunities and working with my offensive line to create dangerous situations. In my senior season, I was given the leadership award for being a great leader on the field and including each player in one part of the game or another. My goal was to lead with kindness and authority on the field. In soccer there is never the perfect player, everyone can always improve. So, for me as a player, I always work to improve. As I keep pursuing my academic interests, I have maintained a 4.1-4.2 GPA. I have been a member of NHS for the last 3 years in high school (freshmen are not allowed to join). I was nominated by the school to be a part of Hope Squad my freshmen year as well. I think it is important to keep high standards for work through school, soccer, and personal life. I feel like you will always be happy when you push yourself in the right direction and work towards your goals.
