Brinley Biesinger '25 Recruiting Profile

I'm Brinley Biesinger and I am a 5’10 goalie from Salem, Utah. I have played soccer most of my life and it has always been my biggest dream to further my career in college. Every day I dedicate my time to further my skills on and off the field. Some of these daily activities include practices, private training, weightlifting and maintaining my 4.0 in the classroom. 

I have always played for a local club, but in the summer of 2023, I decided it was time for a switch to improve my abilities and give me more exposure. I tried out for Utah Celtic FC and was fortunate enough to make the GA team. I will be playing with that team again this year and I am ecstatic to travel throughout the country and have the wonderful opportunity to play soccer with my team. 

I believe I stand out from other players through my aggression, speed, work ethic, decision making, and my desire to compete/win. I am never afraid to leave my box for a 1v1 and I can guarantee I will give it my all to gain possession of the ball every single time. While most people don’t think about speed when it comes to goalkeeping, I have come to realize how crucial it is over the years. I am always one of the fastest on my team. My work ethic is one of the traits I am most proud of. I will never give up and I love devoting myself to a challenge. Once I pick something, I will stick to it 100% of the time. I have very good decision making and will never second guess my initial thoughts. This is crucial as a goalie and comes in handy with PK’s. Lastly, the thing I want most in this world is to compete. I have spent some time over the years sitting out with injuries and during those times it just makes me realize all I want to do is play. Along with that, I will do everything I can to help my team win.
