A goal I have had from a very young age is to be able to play college soccer, and I am willing to work hard to achieve that goal. As well as playing soccer, I play competitive basketball and I ski, all while maintaining a 3.98 accumulative GPA and achieving a 30 ACT score. I also played tennis, softball, and swam before high school, and I consider myself a multi-sport athlete. Playing multiple sports has taught me how to cooperate positively with many different personalities, and be able to focus on school while I am participating in several other activities. Aside from sports, I play the cello for the Young Artist Chamber Players and attend private lessons as well. I have also played the piano and taken private lessons for 9 years. I was recently able to volunteer for a program called Goals For Girls that helps refugees adjust to their new homes by playing soccer with other refugees. I was planning to participate in a humanitarian service project in Guatemala the summer of 2020 until the COVID situation occurred. We were going to build school buildings for young children.
I am responsible, motivated to succeed, and am capable of learning and adjusting due to my experiences with playing multiple sports, obtaining good grades, playing two instruments, and volunteering to help refugees. Playing college soccer would be an amazing opportunity that I would love to have!
