Reyna Murphy '21 Recruiting Profile

One of the most memorable days of my life was in seventh grade on the day I achieved the rank of black belt in taekwondo. That day I also competed in and lost a basketball state championship game. I remember this day because it had both success and failure. I had to push my self to keep going when I was sore and tired. It taught me that I am tougher and able to do more than I thought I could. The memory of my journey has been a reminder that for me going out of my comfort zone will always have a positive result. 

I am looking for a school that will have a positive attitude while also pushing me outside of my comfort zone in both athletics and academics. The many sports I have participated in throughout my life how to adjust to new environments. My belief in myself and the others around me will make me a good match for your team.
