Ava Brigance '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Ava Brigance.  I recently finished my first college soccer season playing for Colorado Northwestern Community College in Rangely, Colorado. We ended with a record of 5-11-1. I quickly became a regular starter and we improved the schools record from the previous year. I had so much fun playing for CNCC and Coach Eldon Brough. I can play the following positions; Center Striker, Attacking Midfield, and Left or Right Wing. Previously, I attend Alta High School. While there, I was the Women’s Soccer Varsity Team Captain and played all 4 years on both our JV & Varsity teams. I worked hard to balance school and soccer to stay on the Honor Roll With a 4.0 GPA. I played for Blue Knights SC for the last 11 years and was the Team Captain there. When I left to play soccer in college, we finished in club playing at the Premier level and recently were in the Yellowstone Premier League. 

I am currenty studying sports medicine at Colorado Northwestern Community College.

Overall I am a team player. I love to score bangers but if someone has a better shot, then getting an assist is just a good! I have worked hard to be the player to take corner kicks for my College team CNCC, former club and Alta teams. I genuinely just love to play and rally behind any team I am part of. Besides weekly club practices and games, I do additional private weekly training to keep improving my 1 v 1 skills and shooting technique. I take my coach's player evaluations seriously and always try make adjustments where needed. 

I spend my spare time giving back to the Blue Knights club by working as an Assistant coach my younger sister's 2011 age team.
