I began playing soccer at 8 years old. At this time I had been a competitive gymnast for 4 years. I discovered my love for soccer and quit gymnastics to pursue it. I joined a club called Brattleboro Storm when I was 10 years old. This league was almost all boys, and I was one of 2 girls on my team. I played on this club team for 3 fall seasons, 3 winter indoor seasons, and spring seasons as well. I played on this club as well as my school soccer teams during the fall. I have always played on coed soccer teams, and now I am a captain of my high school team, of which I am the only girl. I love the game, and want to find a school where I will be able to get playing time, and continue pursuing my passion of this game.
