Tatum Baugh '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Tatum! I have been passionate about soccer for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to play for the rest of my life because it brought me joy. Playing soccer is the perfect way to escape from the world and bring me to my happy place. I love feeling the adrenaline rush as the whistle blows to start the game. I can't imagine a life without soccer.

My goal is to play collegiate soccer at the highest level possible. I think that I could make a great addition to any division one program because I am hard-working, motivated and willing to do what is best for the team. I put in the extra work to become a better player. For example, COVID-19 affected everyone's summer this year. All summer, I continued to work out and improved my soccer skills. I knew that at some point I would be playing soccer again, so I needed to stay in shape and keep training until that time came. My primary position is an outside back, but I can play anywhere on defense. I also have experience as a midfielder. I make a great defender because I am aggressive, fearless, fast, and observant. I have a positive influence on my team on and off the field. I hope that I can develop my character as well as my skill during my four years of college.

I am a student at Centreville High School in Clifton, VA. I have a 4.25 GPA and will be graduating in 2022. I take honors and AP courses to help me prepare for the stricter curriculum in college. I plan to major in Exercise Science or Kinesiology in hopes of becoming a physical therapist in the future.
