I've been playing soccer for as long as I can remember. I was taught everything I know by my father who was also a goal keeper and who was also taught by some of the best. My father was a State, Regional, and National Goal Keeper. I always thought I could never live up to his expectations, or fill his shoes, but he taught me to learn from my mistakes, welcome constructive feedback, and to never let anyone keep me down. He said I have exceeded what he was ever capable of accomplishing at my age, all the while maintaining my grades, speaking three languages, and finding my true self. I've been back and forth about playing in college because I have been pushed down so many times and not given opportunities for one reason or another and just putting academics first. My love for soccer is far to great. Soccer is a part of me, not just something I do, or a sport I play, it's who I am!
